Beyond Bar Code (“Beyond Bar Code”, “we”, “our” or “the Company”) is committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of every person (“you”, “your” or “user”) who visits or interacts with our website (the “Site”). We value the trust you place in us and uphold it through confidentiality, transparency and security. This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) applies to visitors as well as current and former clients.

Payment and billing details such as credit card information are not collected by Beyond Bar Code directly. Where payment information is required you are redirected to a secure third-party payment processor. Beyond Bar Code does not control that provider and recommends that you review its privacy policy separately.

Beyond Bar Code uses appropriate, industry-recognised security practices to protect the personal information you share with us from unauthorised access or misuse.

Cookies

Cookies are small data files that websites place on your device. Beyond Bar Code may use cookies to analyse how visitors interact with the Site and to evaluate the effectiveness of our marketing. We use Google Analytics 4 with Google Consent Mode: no analytics cookie is set before you consent, IP addresses are not stored and the statistics do not personally identify you. Non-essential cookies are only set with your consent, and you can change your choice at any time via the Cookie Settings link in the footer or through your browser. Details are in our Cookie Policy.

Security measures

Sensitive data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS). We also use firewalls, access-control systems and secure authentication mechanisms to guard against unauthorised access, and we maintain the security and reliability of our website in line with industry standards.

Sharing information with affiliates

Beyond Bar Code may share the personal information described above with its affiliated companies for operational or marketing purposes, as permitted by applicable law. Affiliates are contractually obligated to keep your personal data confidential and secure in accordance with this Policy.

Sharing information with third parties

Beyond Bar Code does not sell your personal information. We may share it with non-affiliated service providers who assist us in delivering our services, such as IT support, legal counsel or accounting. These parties are contractually required to protect your data and may only use it as necessary to perform services on our behalf.

Your rights

Providing personal information is optional; choosing not to provide certain information may limit the services we can offer you. You may request to access, update, correct or delete your personal information at any time. Under EU data-protection law you are additionally entitled to:

• correct inaccurate or incomplete data,
• request deletion of your data,
• restrict or object to processing under certain conditions,
• request data portability.

Contact form

When you send us a message through the contact form, we process the details you enter (name, e-mail address, optional phone number and company, your message, the page you wrote from and your language) to handle your request and reply to you by e-mail or phone. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given by ticking the box before sending; you may withdraw it at any time by writing to the address below. Your message is stored as a support request on our own platform, hosted in the EU, and is accessible only to the Beyond Bar Code team. We keep it for as long as needed to handle the request and for up to 24 months afterwards, unless the law requires a longer period. The form is protected against automated abuse by Cloudflare Turnstile, which may process technical data such as your IP address and browser characteristics; see Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.
