Wer betroffen ist

Manufacturers of products with EU repairability requirements (household appliances, displays, phones and tablets among them), their importers and authorised representatives, and independent repairers.

Zentrale Pflichten

  1. 01Repair on request after the guarantee, free of charge or for a reasonable price, within a reasonable time
  2. 02Offer spare parts and tools to repairers at a reasonable price and without contractual or software barriers
  3. 03Provide a European repair information form on request
  4. 04Inform consumers about the repair obligation and the online repair platform

Was es für Ihren Pass bedeutet

Repair rights depend on data: part numbers, disassembly steps, software unlock procedures and service history. A passport that exposes a repair layer to professionals and consumers satisfies the information duty and leaves a maintenance trail that raises the product's resale value.
